Lesson Starters for Algebra for Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills This program comes packaged on a CD-ROM as a 100-slide PowerPoint presentation. Using realistic settings and problems, it helps introduce students to basic algebra concepts.

Each expedition is correlated to TEKS for geometry and provides teachers with assessment tools and a detailed outline of project steps so they can focus energy on instruction rather than project management.
	Expeditions in Your Classroom: Middle School Mathematics for Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Ten engaging, real-world projects that show students that math has relevance in their lives today and in the future. Each expedition is correlated to TEKS and strives to give students new skills that can help them both inside and outside the mathematics classroom.
	Using Web-Based Tools in the English Language Arts Classroom, TEKS The goal of this book is to get your students excited about English Language Arts activities by leveraging their interest in online tools for collaboration. In Everest Trek, Amazon Mission and Stranded!, middle school students use algebraic thinking and data analysis to solve engineering problems in real world settings. The Building Math series was developed through a partnership with the Boston Museum of Science and Tufts University.

Texas 5E Inquiry Science Units – Grade 5
Adopted by the State Board of Education, these user friendly, hands-on science units address the new and expanded TEKS for Grade 5. Each unit employs the 5E Model of Inquiry: Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation with the 5Es highlighted in both teacher and student materials. Each student worksheet is accompanied by a companion version with scaffolding for SPED and ELL students. Spanish translations of both worksheet versions are included.
