Walch’s materials, developed hand-in-hand with Georgia educators, have been built from the ground up to align with Georgia Performance Standards, Learning Tasks, and course descriptions.

Additionally, we are assisting a number of Georgia districts with the transition to CCGPS.

Walch materials are being used in several large districts throughout the state. Here are a few examples:

• Clayton County partnered with us on -- and adopted -- the comprehensive, year-long Math 2 and Math 3 programs. Bibb County, Douglas County, Murray County and Walker County have also adopted the Walch Education Suite of Math 3 programs.
• DeKalb County High utilizes Walch High School Science Programs for the GHSGT, covering the Characteristics of Science and the five content domains: Cells and Heredity; Ecology; Structure and Properties of Matter; Energy Transformations; and Forces, Waves, and Electricity.
• Fulton County uses inter-session support programs for mathematics in grades 6, 7, and 8.
• Lumpkin County uses inter-session programs for Grade 8 Reading, Writing, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Geometry and Algebra, Science, Biology and Chemistry, U.S. History, Social Studies, and Summer School.
• Savannah-Chatham County has adopted the Walch Education Math 1 program.
• Clarke County, Georgia, saw a 12.8% rise in 8th grade state test results after using a new mathematics program from Walch Education. Read the story
