As a first step, we launched a series of rigorous Common Core supplements. These were designed to extend and enhance the classroom experience, and to give teachers an early look, from a practical perspective, at what the Common Core is all about.

Math I

CCSS Integrated Pathway: Mathematics I is a complete set of materials developed around the Common Core State Standards; the CCSS Integrated Pathway curriculum map and the Mathematics I course descriptions. The components are designed to support students in meeting and exceeding the standards encompassed by the Mathematics I course.

Common Core State Standards Station Activities for Mathematics I
These station-based activities provide students with opportunities to practice and apply the mathematical skills and concepts they are learning in their Math I class. You may use these activities as a complement to your regular lessons, or in place of your regular lessons if students have the basic concepts but need practice.

CCSS Descriptive Statistics for Algebra I/Mathematics I addresses the Common Core State Standards(CCSS) for Statistics and Probability: Interpreting Categorical and Quantitative Data. These lessons may be used in either Math I or Algebra I courses to teach the new content and practices of the CCSS.

Math II

CCSS Integrated Pathway: Mathematics II is a complete set of materials developed around the Common Core State Standards, the CCSS Integrated Pathway curriculum map in Appendix A, and the Mathematics II course descriptions. The Math II course will be completed by June 1, 2013.

In Everest Trek, Amazon Mission and Stranded!, middle school students use algebraic thinking and data analysis to solve engineering problems in real world settings. The Building Math series was developed through a partnership with the Boston Museum of Science and Tufts University.
