PORTLAND, ME (March 30, 2016) – Walch High School Math announced today that their Georgia Standards of Excellence: Geometry resources will be available this spring for the 2016 -2017 school year. The program includes a complete set of teacher resources and student workbooks that are aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) for Geometry.“Our high school math curriculum resources, including our flexible supportive problem-based design, came initially from work we did in Georgia almost ten years ago. Remember Paula’s Peaches?” says Al Noyes, Walch’s president. “We are pleased to continue our commitment to supporting Georgia Math educators with these new GSE resources.” As with their popular CCGPS Integrated Math programs, Walch’s new GSE Geometry, GSE Algebra I and GSE Algebra II courses will include components that support problem-based learning, instruct and coach as needed, provide practice, and assess students’ skills.
