We work with Maryland educators to develop, produce, and implement materials for Maryland classrooms. Partnering with districts throughout the state, we create curricula that are targeted, user-friendly, flexible, and cost-effective.

In addition to our Core Learning Goals-based materials for secondary classrooms, we have a wide variety of research-based materials aligned to national standards that can be readily incorporated into your educational programs.

The following list outlines some of the many programs Walch Education has developed for Maryland educators:

100 Lesson Starters for Algebra I Developed in partnership with Frederick County educators, this program comes packaged on a CD-ROM as a 100-slide PowerPoint presentation.  Using realistic settings and problems, it helps introduce students to basic algebra concepts.  It's the perfect accompaniment to the Glencoe or any other popular Algebra text.  

Academic Support Program for High School Algebra I and Data Analysis
Up to 120 hours of Maryland Core Learning Goals and NCTM standards-based instruction support problem-based learning. 

Maryland Algebra/Data Analysis, v. 2.0
Version 2.0, based on feedback from 15,000 students! A single, comprehensive program combining algebra and data analysis. More than 180 hours of instruction prepares Maryland students for the MSA and HAS. Includes Teacher Resource Binder and hardcover Student Resource Books.

Maryland Academic Support Program for Biology HSA Recovery
Developed in partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools, a complete program to prepare students for the standards addressed by the HSA Biology exam. A 50-to-60-hour course ideal for summer school or the academic year.
