Developed in partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools, the Maryland Academic Support Program for Biology HSA Recovery contains everything you need in one sturdy binder! As your students prepare for the Biology HSA, use this resource to reinforce the scientific concepts and applications they'll face on the exam. 

This 50-to-60-hour course is ideal for summer school or the academic year. It includes a complete collection of reproducible activities that support a variety of instructional practices:

The program addresses two goals for Maryland.

1. Goal 1. The student will demonstrate ways of thinking and acting inherent in the practice of science. the student will use the language and instruments of science to collect, organize, interpret, calculate, and communicate information.
2. Goal 3. The student will demonstrate the ability to use scientific skills and processs (Core Learning Goal 1) and major biological concepts to explain the uniqueness and interdependence of living organisms, their interactions with the environment, and the continuation of life on Earth. 

The Maryland Academic Support Program for Biology HSA Recovery is divided into two major parts: Biology and Ecology.  In addition, you'll find a materials list, pacing guide, graphic organizers, pre- and post-tests, and additional lab and instructional activities. 

The binder also comes with a CD-ROM containng all of the material in a reproducible format.
